Hello Praxis Team!

We are looking for partnerships and/or support to reach people who could participate in our Hamilton/Halton pilot. It appears that a Praxis-Helpers partnership could be an impactful relationship to help to those with spinal cord injuries.

Our business is called Helpers and our app lets people request home care services on demand from our network of trusted care aides. Through our app, clients select the services they need and request them on demand, paying only for what they need when they need it.

The two groups we are looking for help connecting with are:

Caregivers or Clients: people looking for non-medical home care alternatives that have no commitments and offer the flexibility of being on-demand. Our services include: lifting & transfers, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal prep, medication reminders, companion driving, laundry, light cleaning. Our team and volunteers are also offering FREE friendly calls to those in need.

Care Aides (PSWs): care aides who have scheduling gaps, are looking to augment their current work or work independently who want a flexible way to pickup extra work and help provide home care support.
